01 / CHALLENGE

Challenge

A flying club needs to publish public information clearly while managing structured club content and keeping members-only material protected.

02 / RESPONSE

Response

Separate the presentation layer from the LFC Core plugin, making club data and protected resources manageable within WordPress. The current production site is V1; a custom theme and Gutenberg-based V2 is being developed in parallel.

03 / DELIVERY

Delivery

  • WordPress website
  • Custom application plugin
  • Structured club content
  • Member access and protected documents

04 / HIGHLIGHTS

Behind the build

  • LFC Core keeps operational functionality separate from the site design
  • Aircraft, courses, trips, events and documents are structured WordPress content
  • Members-only documents are served from protected storage
  • Custom-theme V2 is being built without a dependency on the existing Oxygen presentation

05 / THE PROCESS

How it comes together

  1. Understand

Map public visitors, club editors and members, including what must remain private.

  2. Advise

Define data ownership, document access rules and a practical migration path from the existing site.

  3. Build

Create the site application layer and develop the separate coded theme and editing components.

  4. Manage & improve

Preserve the production site while validating V2 and preparing a controlled release.

07 / CURRENT RESULT

Where it stands

A maintainable club platform with a clear separation between website presentation, structured data and member-only resources. The redesigned V2 remains in development.
